JML was founded in 1989 by Vince Adamo with the
aspiration of becoming the innovative leader in the industry with a new
type of service to the field of education. We promised and delivered
the type of service which made most competitors conform to our
standards. This accomplishment was achieved while maintaining our
leadership role with regards to price point and quality supremacy.
Vince worked for Dylex, a clothing giant who operated Fairweather,
Harry Rosen, Bi-Way, Tip Top Tailors, and many other chains under its
umbrella. His many years as the Southern Ontario Senior Supervisor
enabled him to bring his expertise to JML UNIFORMS, a company which
today has become one of the leaders in the school uniform field.
In 2004, the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District
School Board initiated a school uniform policy for all students. JML
was chosen exclusive supplier for a number of those schools. In 2005,
JML was the supplier chosen by Delta Secondary, the first public
secondary school in the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board to
institute a uniform program. In 2006 Memorial City School chose JML to
be their official uniform supplier. Memorial was the first elementary
public school in the Hamilton-Wentworth Public District School Board to
mandate school uniforms. We presently provide school uniforms to more
than 10,000 students in the greater Hamilton area. With our latest
appointment as one of the official school uniform suppliers for the
H.W.D.S.B., JML is poised to become the driving force behind school
uniforms in Hamilton and area.
JML Uniforms supplies uniforms, team-wear, spirit-wear, and staff
clothing to 5 school boards in Ontario. We also supply clothing for
McMaster University, University of Toronto., Guelph University, and
numerous other corporations.
